I know it is coming but still in the dark. Upset and depressed when waiting for good or bad.
Any ideas when it will happen ?

@2ydm, Is online comedian the side hustle that you are dreaming about since a layoff is imminent for you? Pray that you don't lose your day job dear, the pretend one is not happening for you.......
OP. I hate to tell you, but the layoffs happened last week. They just did not tell anyone because they decided it would take you a while to notice, given you are working at home. Everyone else is back in the office this week. Did you check your bank account for your paycheck yesterday? If it is not there, then you are officially laid off.
The sooner the better to me. I'm ready to blow this pop stand, lemme tell ya
I would have my bags packed if you feel that you are dead wood and will be trimmed.
Regardless of the date, it is out of your control. Be prepared to stay or leave. This has happened to quite a few people in the past and they were able to move on. As Robin Williams said while addressing the television audience in Mrs. Doubtfire: You will be fine poppet!

Next week you should be packed up and ready to go. Get your resume up to date and include any domestic/retail/service industry related experience that you can dream up.
