Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

HIPAA Violation???

Would it be a HIPAA violation if while doing temperature checks, someone had a temperature and was not allowed into a HON facility. Others would be able to see this. It would be a personal issue and others would see. Asking for a friend.

This would not be a HIPAA violation. If you have a temp, they send you home. As long as the personnel taking the temps don't discuss with others, no problem.

@1bgn. No it would not. That would be a work related injury. Personal laws are much different.

If you cut your hand and they called an ambulance and Everyone saw you get in the ambulance would that be a HIPAA violation?
