Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

People don’t understand that the sick hours were literally stolen from us. Those hours we accumulated by not calling off. That’s like putting money in your savings account For all these years then the banks tell you that you can only take that money out once your checking account is completely at zero and you can only use the money in your savings if your going to donate it to a charity. Lol!! Please tell me again why people still think this company cares about us peasants.

For sure!!! Peoples' unemployment benefits are doubled!!! And the hard working dedicated long term employees can't even get sick time that was earned!! Wait...its the new "Legacy Sick Time" the new program where ya can actually use the hours that were snatched away 4 years ago. Now you have to get covid19 or be taking care of someone with covid19. Hang on though....there are a few hurdles to clear before we can get them. First...all ppo, ppto, and personal time that was in the "2016 bucket" must be exhausted. So that's probably 100 to 150 hrs for most. And ya better catch it quick...this is a limited time offer....expiring May 31. I don't understand how a company's upper management can be so greedy. We are all taking a pretty big risk dealing with pushy members that could care less about the situation. BTW does anyone know where this Legacy Sick Hours terminology came from?? Just a slap in the face from Furner. They finally make an effort to silence the people about the old 192 bucket....and make it almost impossible to get the very money you earned....A joke from the world's largest retailer......THANKS KATH!!
