Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Where are my ex-Renton R&O folks at?

I know some of you ended up over at Blue Origin, who was just today awarded the first phase of NASA's Artemis program to land Americans on the moon by the end of 2024. Hearing there are all kinds of new jobs there.

If you moved over to Blue Origin, congrats on being a part of something great.

For those of us who weren't around in 2006, what was the reorg like? What was reorganized?

Blue origon ceo is the former chief technology officer for honeywell aero a primary architect of the 2006 reorg. Same story everywhere. You wont escape the history. GE created this culture and it spreads like ...well ... you know.

Oddly enough, looking at the Reviews of Blue Origin on Glassdoor, there is a common theme. To quote one reviewer.

"Since the former president of the company was displaced by the new CEO Bob Smith about two years ago, the culture has gradually but radically shifted to become increasingly opaque, authoritarian, and toxic."

I knew the name Bob Smith sounded familiar, and I'll be damned if he isn't ex-Honeywell.
