It looks like the AMBU employees that are left are in the best position going into the downsizing this fall. Rumor has it that they will not be subject to the layoffs.
Chevron’s strategy is buy high, sell low.
Typical CVX, buy AMBU when natural gas prices are at record highs / sell AMBU when gas is in the c-apper. That's how you make $10 bln go poooof.
The great shale collapse will choke gas supplies so prices will skyrocket. AMBU will be a great buy for someone shrewd. You heard it here first.
Suspect AMBU dry gas economics are better than West Texas in current market.
