Good news that the walking ego in Hillsboro's IT department is on his way out as a result of the covid slow down. That stuff pretty much runs itself anyway so it's no great loss. When things go back to normal, if this is true, Development can get back to getting things done without begging the the self imposed king for required resources.

The stuff practically runs itrself??? Stupid arguments heard many times over for an IT department of which I am and have been a part of. Oh sure it runs most of the time but have an outage or something breaks THEN you really need them. Most of the time they are called DEAD WOOD for staffing reduction purposes.
@1kba+14L9IzeV - Not that I know of so far. BS (and what is now BS as of 5/1) got hit pretty hard last week. Little bird tells me Channels is going to get hit with a Thanos-level sledgehammer, as much of Channels revenue is based on per transaction models (Clover, BillPay, etc). With the advent of COVID-19, transaction volumes have collapsed. As Beaverton is mostly Channels, I would expect some impact.
- S. Be very careful using Fiserv assets. Check to see if Sapience is installed on your machine by going to Start - Control Panel - Programs and Features - Sapience Updater. There is a lot of spyware on your machine, so understand every keystroke is monitored. Also synched to your badge swipes. If you start showing up late, it will be noted. If you take too much time between badge swipe and first keystroke, it will be noted. Too few keystrokes per minute, it will be noted. (hint: 1 keystroke every 5 seconds to be a productive little bee).

Have there been layoffs at the Fisv Beaverton office?
It is my understanding that the Tanasbourne location transferred to new digs in Beaverton in late 2017/ early 2018. Was there still an IT presence in Hillsboro?
And for some groovy trivia: Up until April of this year, the photo of the former Hillsboro office was on the Fiserv wikipedia page.
