Membership Leads & Coordinator what are you guys doing in the Club???? Now that we aren’t in the field. Let’s talk

Of course orders have tripled. Some people don't want to go in a store now and probably for awhile. This virus isn't going away anytime soon. On line ordering was growing before this pandemic....so don't know where outside marketing will fit in. Hopefully they will, but don't count on it.
It totally depends on your manager. Have you been there too long for them? You won't be going in the field. They will transition you to work inside till you've had enough BS and games and then leave on your own. HO and management are then happy because they may later have someone much less qualified and making much less try it. Or if you are buddies with these so called team leads, they will leave you alone and let you do your job...rather than say they need you to greet or some other job in the club. Depends how much they want to rid of you. Within the same market and same state some clubs are having the marketing rep go in the field while others are saying marketing will no longer go out. So you see, it's a big game to them. If you've maxed out on your pay or close OR if you are elderly (even though it's illegal), they will make your life miserable so you leave on your own. That way they don't think they will have to pay unemployment, unless you go through the nonsense of proving your case. When you are gone, they can hire 2 or 3 to try and take your place and cover more territory. Mattered to Sam. Doesn't matter to his kids or the people trying to run things today. After all, they have team leads and front end associates that are so deceitful...they can get those Plus and a short time later when they get their bill, membership gets blamed for having to give an upgrade refund...because of that deceit. This is why my family shops Costco now. Not once has a cashier bugged me, except to ask for my membership card and payment! Sam's used to be good, but the young and greedy have ruined it. Maybe someday it will be the honest respected place it once was.
One of the first sentences in your job description is that you'll do what they ask basically so yes it is in your job description

With all the new memberships offers on the internet I be surprised if marketing is not gone soon. I doing desk, concierge , MSL, door, clog pickup and anything else they throw at me.
I’m every dam where. Club pick, MSL which I don’t get paid to be a MSL. Know your job description. These f—ing Managers will have you doing everything in the club. Which I don’t mind doing, but pay us some more money. It’s not our Job description. Point blank period.
Membership desk, entrance door, exit door, concierge, and registers, etc anything else they assign us too.
