Thread regarding Macy's Inc. layoffs

PTO going forward?

Does anyone know what the policy will be regarding PTO once we go back to work? For example, I was scheduled for 2 weeks paid this year. I work with a couple others who were scheduled for 5 and 6 weeks scheduled this year. I assume Macys won't be paying out that much in light of circumstances. Correct?

Hi everyone, I am starting back at M today, and I just this moment scheduled PTO, so MTO is open again bow...but only for those of us who are designated "active" (not still furloughed). Just so you know, everything I had already scheduled for myself was canceled & the PTO put back in my PTO bank. Not just dates during the closure, but ALL dates future. That means as soon as you are reinatated, go in to MTO to reclaim your PTO dates. One good thing-no dates are blacked out or PTO exempt....dont know how long that'll last, however. Hope this info helps.

I doubt anyone here is going to have an answer for you. Just keep checking the FAQS they have posted on INSITE. I’m thinking there might be some significant updates this week.
