Otrawa site offers satellite communications for high speed data via internet connections on commercial and private aircrafts is untouchable because HW needs the technology going forward. Sure, business has slowed considerably but the future looks good past the horizon. The Ottawa site has the best looking building in comparison to all HW sites, the highest paid employees, freedom to take extended breaks & lunch including c-gare–e time and chat time. Management does not emphasize much on productivity especially the employees who are considered old timers who can TALk and WAG their tail out of anything GREAT SITE TO WORK AT! Easy to bullsh.. anyone and they will swallow it..love the high pay checks and slack time management cuts us! Eat your hearts out :)

I work at the Ottawa HW site and can first hand testify the site is very toxic. The people culture is poision!!! Waiting for a severance package and hope they close the hell hole down.
James Webb telescope was postponed. So why keep Ottawa open at all? Are and ComDev folks even around now?
The hole known as Honeywell Ottawa (formerly Canadian Astronautics back in the day) has a horrific reputation as a place to work, and is known a place you only work at if you have exhausted all other options.

Untouchable... Hmm... Did not you guys have very quiet engineering reorg a few months ago. Several Sr. Managers and workers kicked to the curb in a matter of minutes. No one is untouchable. Hold on tight!!! But the plant is nice though...
