Has anybody collecting RR unemployment received their extra $600 yet?? I tried contacting RRB and they're of course closed til further notice. I've heard that when they re-open that they will pay retro for as many weeks as the owed you the extra 600.

The info I have heard is inline with all the other posts, we are "supposedly" going to get our 600/week (with backpay) in about 2 weeks. But how do we verify this, as I've been trying to call my local RRB field office and they are closed. Hell even when they're open they're not the most polite people to speak with.

so how's it work ? you get a extra $600 bucks added on to your normal unemployment ? and is the $600 bucks just for two weeks or is it longer ? I called about it couldn't get much info dude had a attitude ....
Spoke with Cleveland board last week she said it'll go live mid may and they will back pay any eligible weeks not payed then.
I was told the system has to be programed to see who qualifies and who doesn't .... they're talking like the end of may to get the backpay caught up.... again thats what I was told...
My understanding is the $600 is being paid by through Unemployment Insurance but it is government funds so they can't pay it until the federal government sends the states the money.
I think it suppose to happen soon.Rrb said the treasury is handling it. I guess if your furloughed they get the info from rrb and send it through your direct deposit. But when.. anyway I'm pretty sure it should be retroactive. Nobody i know seen it yet.
