It's starting to feel like NOV is doing layoffs much faster now because so many people (who don't seem to care about their own lives or the lives of their loved ones, but that's another post) are pushing to get the country open and get everybody back to work, which is going to make laying off people with no consequences a bit more difficult than it is now.
Which means that we can expect plenty more layoffs in the following days/weeks.
I somewhat agree on this. It seems NOV management thinks this is the best time to lay off a lot of workers without getting noticed or blamed because massive layoff is happening unfortunately in almost every industry.
You are an id–t. My husband just lost his NOV job. We have a 2, 3 and 5 year old. We’re greedy id–ts because we want to work for money to buy food and pay our mortgage? You have absolutely no clue.
As the saying goes republicans and science (truth) don't mix. May they fight their corona with barrels of oil and pockets full of dollars.
