Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

How can they continue to let people come to work when they want. If someone wants to take off because of the virus thats one thing but when you have people that will call in a couple of days then come to work a couple of days and them call in again and using the excuse of the virus then thats bs and should not be allowed. Only people that is hurting is the rest of us. These people are not your friends at work and they could care less about you. Either come to work or stay your a– at home so they can hire people that actually needs a job. Again Ill repeat if you want off because you are concerned about the virus I have no issues with that but for those that are abusing the system then F* Y stop making my job harder that it already is.

You know, I will say this- people should be utilizing the LOA system for the COVID-19; they have a option for that. Sadly though, sedgewick makes life miserable for you- and you have to jump through so many hoops just to get a approved leave. It actually makes those who actually work hard not want to make the effort to put in for vacation, or a leave. Our club- the people we have, all have used the LOA system to my knowledge.

If I get one thing out of a person who shows up it’s a win over them all calling in.
