Not a peep ever since "no more layoffs" was announced. It just goes to show you that BNY Mellon's culture is driven by the constant fear and threat of layoffs. Every day the average BNY Mellon employee fears loosing his or her job. Now with all this COVID-19 stuff going on, they also fear that they would never be able to get a job anywhere else, and so now everyone shuts up.

3) complains why there's no more activity on a page called "thelayoffs.com", on the page of the said company that announced no further layoffs.

It's quiet because everyone preparing to make a move. Working from home is a perfect timing for interviews and brushing your skillset. If you dare nothing, you gain NOTHING

Guys, we don’t have a year. We have between now and January 1st. That’s 8 months. They will make up for lost time in 2021. Keep those resumes up to date.
We’re not fools. We have fewer choices these days. Financial ruin and insecurity gives us a new perspective. I am grateful to have ANY job, benefits, and WFH during this crisis. Many of my friends and some of my relatives are not so fortunate. So as long as this situation lasts, you’ll get no complaint out of me.
