Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Jeff won’t be protecting anyone anymore

Jeff’s current or former direct reports must be really nervous right now...they will shortly be pushed out if they don’t jump first...

OFS is full of a bunch of jock sniffers with Tom A being the worst one. He’s already went from telling Jeff stories to telling frank stories to make himself look more connected. He and MW go way back which isn’t surprising

Yea I didn't think Cleartouch only had 12 clients. Thanks for clarifying.

The dc will move. We have all known this would happen. But to say this would by EOY is laughable. More like over the next two years is more realistic. The rest of Brookfield will probably be moved to smaller offices. They’re not going to shutter Cleartouch. There is more than “12 clients” and some pretty big initiatives going on right now. Why would that be the case if they’re just going to suddenly close it. That makes no sense.

@1cdh+14QfrKNt Yeah, I figured MW would be out very soon. The guy hasn't done anything in five years but draw a check.

How long before OFS leaders fall over themselves rushing to kiss Frank’s ring and deny any loyalty to Jeff? There’s a new Don in NY now. How long before they all start stabbing each other (and their teams) in the back to protect themselves?

@1kee+14QfrKNt - Dublin Ohio Mafia? The company headquarters haven't been in Ohio for ages. It's moved twice since those days. There might still be a few movers and shakers in that location, but to claim it's some citadel of cronyism is amusing. As you start clapping your hands at the thought of this or that person finally getting his or her comeuppance, remember this - if the scythe starts swinging, it won't be particular.

If it's true (true being the keyword) that there is only 12 clients than that revenue is insignificant and the product can be sunsetted and moved to Premier or DNA.

That is precisely what has been allowed to happen for the past 12 years under JY - fear! Those antiquated products can be lift and shifted in a weekend and the 12 customers hanging on to that ancient technology can cross their fingers along with the rest of us

I don't agree that the Brookfield DC will be moved or closed. No one outside of Brookfield knows the first thing how those products work.

The Dublin Ohio family mafia wont be protected now. This group has costs dozens of people their jobs over the years. Time for these sisters and their brother in law to be gone

Don’t overestimate the Brookfield complexity - it will be shuttered by EOY. The only reason it hasn’t closed before now was fear - lack of confidence that existing hacks could pull it off AND certain executives thought as long as the broken down dc was there - they were safe. The dc is a pos and has been neglected for years. Back the truck up - beep, beep, beep ........moving sale

Hey @1gum+14QfrKNt , it will take YEARS and YEARS to get everything out of Brookfield. They've been talking about moving the datacenter out of there since 2012 & have not done squadoosh yet to get it moved. Will take 5 years and a LOT of money to get that done AND a lot of smart people too(which they are letting a lot of them go lately)

The only that will be left in Brookfield will be that stupid orange arena - still, no one knows who or what Fiserv is. How much does that cost per year again? How many people were sacrificed to pay for that sponsorship. Back the moving truck up to Brookfield - it will be shut down by the end of the year.......

@jqa+14QfrKNt if you are remote, just start looking for something better.

its nice that he is giving the company over to frank. that way he doesn't have to layoff loyal Fiserv employees who have put up with his c-appy leadership for the past 15? years. jeff never cared about any of the low level employees, frank will care even less.

There are a few Checkfree loyalists and their cronies in Alpharetta that will be gone soon. A couple of them have really ticked FB off. No love lost there.

I just got that email from JY. I work remote, over 200 miles away from an office. Guess I'm going to be RIF'd when they call us all back in after quarantine.
