New performance review process

Has anyone heard anything about the new review process? Can you provide more details around that?

Corsair Scimitar mouse - I had to look that one up but I get the idea. And to think I handled this the old fashioned way - I had to run back and forth between tv commercials to make it look like I was doing something.

For those wondering, I use a Corsair Scimitar mouse that can has onboard memory that can store macros without needing to install a program on the computer.

You use the Corsair software to set up your macro on your home computer (e.g. record a mouse wiggle, set it to execute every 60 seconds), save the macro to the mouse, plug the mouse into your work laptop and boom.

You can make more complicated macros, for instance something that would open a terminal, change to a directory and compile a project, alt-tab back to your IDE and edit something, alt-tab back to the terminal to compile, alt-tab back to the IDE and undo the edit, rinse and repeat. To the untrained eye (or spyware that randomly screenshots your desktop) it looks like you're doing... something. All the while you could be drinking beer on the couch playing PS4 games. Be sure to block your time in 2 hour increments throughout the day in Outlook to make it look like you're in meetings or collaborating with people etc.

There's an art and a science to this lifestyle. I'd be glad to hold a master seminar on slacking for a nominal fee.

Seriously... they finally got rid of the quotas?

I know good people that quit because they got a BE to meet a quota, and good managers that quit because they were required to do that to good people.

I suppose BNY got rid of enough good people that they can eliminate the quota, for now...

I thought the HR drone might address this in the weekly OST meeting, but there was no mention of it. Does anyone know if it's official yet?

Are the 2 ratings on track and not on track applicable for the mid-term only or for the final assessment as well?

New fields we should be seeing but they don’t want us to see in peoplesoft:
A) “exceeds expectations” - get laid off in Q1 2021
B) “Below expectations” - get laid off in 2H 2021
C) “on track” - everyone else laid off 2022
D) “meets expectations” - All of the above
