I worked for Honeywell from 2004 until 2016. It's a horrible company, but my severance package was so good (Canada) that I stuck around for way too long. I'm much happier now that I'm not working there. Start looking for a way out now. Don't wait for them to screw you over.

"Honeywell could never compete for, attract or retain the kind of talent that would go to Google, Microsoft or Amazon."

But wasn't that the fault of the managers that didn't motivate employees enough with their burning platforms? It couldn't possibly be the fact that those companies pay 2x more, provide all the daily needs like meals & dry cleaning.

Ten percent cut, what a sacrifice. Elon doesnt draw a salary from the companies he started. Send the millionaires to the union negotiating table.

Wow.
Are any those examples tied to the aerospace industry like Hon aerospace?
Airlines parked 60 - 80% of the fleets. Just exactly what / where is the revenue coming from?
Just saying.
Our team is seeing about 50% less work coming in.
Get those sales folks out there to get more business!

Big D and the rest of the mo–ns in HON leadership couldn't manage a condom store in the red light district. These guys are hacks that could never make it in a real company.

Ha. First mistake was comparing Honeywell to any of those companies. It is not now, nor will it ever be, a software industrial. Sticking to a wfh policy which clearly doesn’t work in these economic conditions tells you everything you need to know about the future of Honeywell.

This is evident in the quality of Honeywell’s products, customer service and by the way they treat employees. Honeywell could never compete for, attract or retain the kind of talent that would go to Google, Microsoft or Amazon.

That's because Big D and the cronies were too busy spending Billions on stock buybacks to artificially inflate the stock price. Their pay is based on stock price. But, I'm sure that a couple of $500 bottles of wine will make everything better!
