Health screening duties

It sad they schedule team leads to do health screening but they go straight to there department and leave it for the other person to handle on there on.

Which club is that? At mine we, the front end team leads have to take the temperatures while also running the front end, jewelry and membership and club pick up too because most of the time we don’t have enough people working.

You're grown adults, take your own freaking temperature.

We had a couple cashiers doing it, someone from membership and a club pick up associate. What a joke!

The ones that should be doing most of the screenings are Optical associates and or any Hipaa trained associate, that feels comfortable doing the screening. Optical has stepped it up by taking the responsibility to take care of the stations, update the questions and faqs as they come out, make sure the stations are stocked with all of the masks, proper PPE and cleaning supplies, while still going back and forth to Optical to take care of members. If a temp reads at 93.5 they have not been trained properly at your club. Temps have to be retaken if it even reads under 97; sounds like there is lack of training at the location if this is considered "okay".

The thermometers they use aren't even calibrated. Hey! You're good! You are 93.5°. Haha! Yeah ok!

Take your own temperature and do your own health screening. You can't tell if you're sick? The whole thing is ridiculous.

It can be any associate who is HIPPA certified. It is a one page form on the wire.

I’m an hourly & have to do tests & do backroom. Only backroom associate there on two days of the week!

In my club there’s an associate that’s neither a team lead or manager that does the health screenings and it makes me sick that the managers are too lazy to get out of their office to do it and make the hourly people do it

This is a managers responsibility, not an hourly.

I would much rather a teamlead to work in their area instead of sitting at table all day taking temperatures and putting all their work on other associates.
