DSD cuts coming in Q3!
Hours are being drastically cut!
Not 100% sure who's being cut but my guess is downsizing reps.
DSD is being eliminated in phases.
Phase 1 is effective in Q3

Its Mondelez layoffs. Not Mondelez U.S. Dsd layoffs. Typical American, the world revolves around me.
Take another look at the name of the site....”the lay-off.com”! Of your job isn’t tied to DSD, and you are not effected, maybe best not to comment! What is going on in Canada is different than here! When they had DSD in Canada, were there layoffs? Of course!
Well I thought this site was about Mondelez and not just DSD sales. And no not every job is tied to DSD. We survive just fine without DSD in Canada thanks.

Perfect timing....CARES ACT will be over and the phase out should be enough to keep them below required amount to give notice! Severance of course is optional, companies do not have to offer! States already announced unemployment’s will likely be bankrupt! Man I love working here!
Yes and DMI is not starting back up until July I was told by the DM. Phase 1 begins at the end of July! Game over for some folks soon. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

It may not be RMS and DM that are still around! They will have a handful of people on board left to take pictures for compliance and close gaps! No guarantee these people will be around for long!

Why do you think RMS’s will still be around? What point would they serve with no merchandisers or sales reps? I do think DSD is ending and we could be close the signs are sure there. However, there is too much false information on this site. The poster who claims knowledge of a shareholder meeting...I doubt you were given actual access to this information. All that being said I hope they let us go while we can still get the good unemployment checks before things go back to normal with the virus

Focus your energy on finding a new job, unemployment will be bankrupt and if they eliminate in stages they won’t have to offer a severance!
Again, my eyes are open. I have no issue with people having an opinion. In fact, I share your opinion. I have issue with people shooting their mouth off stating they know detailed facts about timing etc. They dont know.
Q3 is correct. This was addressed at the Shareholder Meeting earlier this month.
"We will be doing a major overhaul of our DSD system to maximize shareholder value"
From what I understand rural low population areas will be given to brokers. Major customers will be serviced by third party merchandising services, think, Jyve or the contractors Keebler used at Mejier. CAO at Kroger, Walmart, and Target so no need for sales reps. DM's and RMS will still be around but given more territory to cover.
Have you ever heard of a “hypothesis”, or educated guess? Based on facts or events? It’s not like people are pulling the statements of an exit from DSD out their a$$! Wake up and face reality! It’s gonna smack you in the face if your not looking!
