Manager came back from pto like good morning hows your family doing thank you for keeping the club clean,neat,amd straight I really appreciate all that you and your team do everyday whats going on here I feel like I'm in the twilight zone.

Believe it or not some managers are actually good people (shocker, I know) and understand what everyone is going through because they are too. Just because the 28 people that post on this site have terrible managers (they say at least) doesn't speak for the over 3000 (600 clubs, 5 managers min per club for those that don't math) managers in the clubs.
In my experience that happens after they have been confronted about or have gotten in trouble for treating associates badly. In my club our one of our managers was told that he never says hello or how are you. Just walks by. He started making a point to do that which is fine but then stopped again. He eventually forgot about greeting associates again.
