I hear that the mgmt is tracking team member productivity and they were surprised productivity increased as a result of team members working from home. Does anyone know how they are tracking productivity?

"team " members?? what is that
Re the DT tracking software. It is no secret, you can search for it on the insider. You can also view a report to see your own usage.
@gvs+14VVcQ5u Is that why a brand new laptop ran like a 1995 286.
Att is a stupid company. No way around it and the previous poster proves it with his cute comment about the complainers. I thought you were suppose to milk the company for all it is worth and just say yes to everything and do what you are told. Why is it the employees fault that their manager gave them no work.
You can tell who is not productive by how much they complain.
att is just a stupid company. they think they can buy the world and have automation tell you how an employee is working. just stupid and you are seeing the results of this ignorance.
There is monitoring software installed on all CDT desktops (and maybe other models- don't know for sure) that tracks 'productivity' It's been in place now for almost 2 years. And yes, your Management can get reports on how much time you spent on every web page, every app, in 'training' - it's all available.
Rule of thumb: A good manager doesn't require metrics to know which of their team members get the work done. They already know who their go to people are and who the f–kups are.
Other teams use various metrics ( calls offered vs calls taken, number of tickets or orders worked )
The most draconian of them are probably the Test Centers where software is installed on your computer which tracks, in real time, what you're doing. How much time you spent on a browser page, how much time in Q, how much time in Application X, etc. etc.
They use those numbers as targets so if you spend TOO much time doing something other than say . . . working tickets, they use those numbers against you to write you up.
Bob, you spent 37 minutes last Friday in Q instead of in Application X. Care to tell me why ?
LOL - this is #gold - the mother of all consipracy theories
