Never forget this...the farther you work from the wellhead the less secure your job is...this is trite I know...but very true. DO NOT WISH TO WORK FROM HOME.
I seriously suspect that the longer CVX let people wfh, the more people will be let go.
There won't be any WFH jobs after the transformation and evolution.
Can’t drill, frac, Operate wells from the office, facilities can be operated from the office, can’t operate refineries from the office.
The majority of folks can/do work form the office and don't "build" anything. A lot of people could easily WFH - and save the company a bunch of $$$ in the process
no you are an oil and gas company. With personnel in the field to run operations. Can't build things working from home.
