We are watching a r—ded CEO tear down one of the oldest companies in the U.S. A company that this cou try HAS to have. With the help of our dear president, this fukkface has gotten rid of how many good paying jobs? Anyone that thinks things are "great" needs to be slapped.

One thing you see about UP's results over the last 10 years is that railroad crossing accidents are significantly down, personal injury incidents per employee hour are down, disposable ties and infrastructure are being replaced at nearly double the rate, while efficiencies and worker productivity are up across the board. Turns out that union workers were extraordinarily lazy workers, because when we moved to the option of half days back when, everyone still managed to get all their allocated work done, and everything was adjusted accordingly. Younger workers simply do everything better than older ones by every metric. The faster older workers age out, the better off the company will be. The COVID pandemic is of course decreasing volume of all commercial traffic, and furloughs will adjust accordingly. A lot of people will not be asked back, and so much for the better. Non-malcontents don't grouse so much about their lazy inefficient old days where people made more mistakes, had more accidents, and moved less volume in the same number of hours worked. They're still doing all those things, there's just less of them around these days.
