Part time employees only get $150 Not the full $300 at sams club. At least the one I work at.
Home Depot is paying double the hourly wage hazard pay to it's employees
What do you prefer? A Sam's Club Walmart policy that gives $300 bonus no matter what, or a company like COSTCO that will give a bonus or extra money based off of hours worked and have to work through a certain date to get it!
With COSTCO and a couple other retailers your bonus could be bigger, but you are also incentivizing people to come to work if they are sick or despite them being potentially more suseptible of catching the virus.
Health or Money? What do you truly care about? Because I guarantee you the same id–ts saying we should shut down or that the company isnt doing enough would take the COSTCO bonus.

This is going to go on longer than 2 weeks. Give the $2 temporary raise for next 2 months and reevaluate in 1 1/2 months. And they aren't giving us 300, it is coming early from bonus....let's just all get they this the best we can and try and keep each other's spirits up. Grateful to be working but would like some acknowledgement we are all doing a good job in this unfortunate situation.... good luck out there guys, stay healthy.
They are giving us a $300 bonus. That’s 150 hours of $2, a little over 2 weeks. It’s not that bad of a deal since everything is expected to be smoothed our in that time. I personally don’t think it will be 2 weeks but that’s what the company is going with since that’s what everyone is saying. Quit crying and acting like you’re not getting anything at all.
