Three Million Unemployed

Unemployment through the roof. Last week there were 280K unemployment claims, we are expecting about three million now. The number will be published at 8:30 a.m. EDT...

This is gonna be massive.

That number would be well above the levels seen during the darkest days of the Great Recession, and the worst isn't over yet, they say.
The crisis has cut a giant swath through the energy, travel, transportation, hotel and restaurant sectors, with large and small companies suddenly forced to furlough employees.

Oxy should establish a COC plan so that we're sold we can claim COC against our new employer or to protect us for additional years. My bet is that is that Icahn won't let that happen, but it's good for the employees.

No disagreement, VH put everybody’s a– out on the line in a risky move during the best of times. She just happened to do it with spectacularly bad timing and we’re all paying for it.

Let's not use the backdrop of the corona as an excuse. The APC deal stunk all over. It has risk written all over it. Just look at the COC. If it wasn't for that the lay cuts would have been 15% accros the board
