Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Monday All Hands Conference Call

Not sure what will be said but... Here is how I see things:

  • the exec mgmt has to do something, to react as it relates to C19
  • zero interest rates hurt us, big time
  • no people in the branches, no upsell or no sell
  • working from home hard to manage for some (some groups are good at this though)
  • hiring freeze, contractors laid off
  • paused initiatives
  • uncertainty

I see layoffs, temporary layoffs and furloughs ahead of us. Some of it may be announced on the call, for some they will need more time to get organized. They will be pulling the trigger quickly.

Last week 3 million people filed for unemployment, we doged the bullet just because we are big and slow, but rest assured it's coming our way....

No layoffs in 2020....... It will be a bloodbath in 2021 (I’d bet the consultants have already been working in ideal staffing g models in the future to ensure maximizing shareholder value. Your naive if you think The employee is equally important as the Shareholder.
Buckle up......

BOA is just waiting for Trump to sign the bail out package so enhanced unemployment will be in forced. BOA witl then be able to justify the layoffs.
