Masks at Sam's club NOT allowed

I was just told by my GM that I could Not wear a mask to work during the virus spread. Because it's not part of the dress code. Anyone else have this problem?

The one in Sandusky can't wear them either.so they don't care about the employees

If associates want to take back the clubs they should probably start reading info on the front page of the wire to see how masks are approved and not approved. Its not hard to educate youself and would render 90% of this website even more pointless then it already is!. Having said that the GM at this club needs fired if this is true

I am on self quarantine and am going back to work soon. I am scared to go back honestly....
I was planning on wearing gloves and a mask but was informed by management that it’s not a part of the dress code.
I am very concerned that Sam’s Club is not taking any kind of precautionary steps to protect their employees who are literally on the front line on a daily basis interacting with members.

Your CM is full of c-ap and obviously don’t care much about the associates.

Columbus north was like that for the past few weeks. GM and management was telling the cashiers that they couldn't wear them. Never offered them the waiver or anything like that.

False. You can wear a mask. And you only have to sign a paper of its a N95 mask.

You CAN wear a face mask. You have to sign a waiver saying you understand that it may not keep safe. Ask your Manager for the waiver.

We literally have managers wearing them so your cm is being an a–. But then again I know we've had at least 1 person test positive and we can't even get a straight answer on at least what dept they worked in.

I believe there’s is a release of liability that has to be sign before you can wear a mask. I remember associate having to sign it during the fire in ca.

That's a bunch of bull. Neither is a tongue ring or facial piercing. We have plenty of associates in our club that are wearing masks gloves and so forth too bad you have a gm like that. This is your life and you should protect to the best of your ability
