Just heard that possibly a garage in Yonkers had a positive test and that they were closing it and quarantining the employees they were in recent contact with? Just curious, I’m upstate...I’m kind of p-ss-d off that we aren’t getting paid any kind of hazard pay when att and Comcast seem to be able to at least fork over 20%...I’m in houses all damn day....we have at least half of our techs out it appears too...not sure if it’s because of the supposed “cant find daycare” or whatever non medical exclusion they qualified for...or they just called in sick...I have no idea as I don’t see anybody much now that I garage my truck at home...btw, I scrambled to find daycare for my son....but our damn managers just want job status, arrival windows met, constant field visits....even though we have so much more to do now to help prevent spread of virus....numbers of cases in my county are growing pretty fast...it’d been nice to see Verizon having emergency supplies available in case of a crisis like this....but bean counting Lean six sigma believers didn’t take that into consideration I guess...

It’s good the managers are turning a blind eye to people using the trucks to make some extra $ tree trimming and such.

State St central Office in Syracuse had a positive case....just closed that building...thats the main CO in syracuse....8 floors i think....if i remember right, it used to house dispatch dept too...central NY getting hammered
6360 Thompson rd in syracuse NY just had a positive test.....entire building closed...building houses call centers, engineering, training, and about 30 techs....no more info available atm
