Pension Payments

Does anyone know if we will still receive our pension payments(for those of us that have them). The funds are currently in a Wells Fargo annuity. Could these payments be halted if Macy's files for bankruptcy?

Regarding our pension......just for information, trying to be helpful......I retired 3 years ago, and in December had HRSW send me the paperwork to get the process started. It took about 2 weeks to get the paperwork. I mailed it back on January 7, and since I chose the lump sum for my IRA, I received my check on March 2. Our pension is in a trust, and the last information I saw it was about 98% funded. It would not surprise me if the interest payments that are quarterly are reduced. Best wishes to everyone, I am so thankful that this benefit was available. Be safe.

Are you seriously asking this on the internet?
Contact your pension administrator for these types of questions. One can only imagine the answers you will get from all the “financial experts” online.

That’s why a third party is handling it! So this should not affect the pension benefits. The banks are still safe.
