Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Forego salary increase? Yes or No...?

For those in regions where Honeywell cannot unilaterally go back on the salary increase as communicated due to legal reasons, you got an email asking you to voluntarily give up your increase.

Curious, how many actually give up their increase, or not...?

In Mexico and India where they have to give "consent" tbe pressure is so high to slow that there employees don't dare not sign it. This happened last Furlough and the furlough before that and the one in 2008.

Will HW guarantee that our raises will be an add on to furure raises once the Pandemic has cleared and the Economy recovered. No they won't!! It will just become another cost cutting measure. The only reason they are doing the furlough over a layoff is because when things do recover...those layed Off people will go to work for other companies. Whike Aerosoace, last years "Golden Goose" may be in down turn...every other market exceot "Oil" will come back fully...

Why bother with such a question? Honeywell will only operate in a plzce like that if wages are so low that it is irrelevant. Only exception is Canada and we know they are trying to close those businesses.
