It's not like we didn't see it coming after GM's announcement, but DAMN none-the-less. 20% active and retiree pay deferal to be reviewed again in October 2020. Bet monthly pay pensioners wish they had taken a lump sum. Are benefits reduced as well or just direct pay ????

I concur to the other user, I work in RIC and on contract(Agency payroll). 20% salary reduction it is. My HR told me to take Friday off and work only 32 hours a week starting today. Hope everyone from my salaried colleagues too contribute for this 20% reduction so that we can beat this economic crisis together created by the Coronavirus!
I am an Agency employee from PDC and I can corroborate to what the user ‘ BEAM IS SO FOCUSED’ saying. I got email through my contract house that will have to take every friday off which means reduction in 20% of my salary. This is harsh I know but atleast I have the job. I don’t think BEAM IS SO FOCUSED is a troll, just might be a guy/girl with bad english.

Yes with the news out of 1600 Pennsylvainia today the Federal Social Distancing is extended through April and depending on #'s of cases of Corona in the next 2 weeks into May. We will find out a lot this week via online.

It would be illegal for F to cut pension after all that is a separate bucket of money for which they are legally required to invest in an annuity.
Cutting existing salaries employees salaries and positions is a different story. They can do that whenever they want.
