Have the rules changed at all on management employees who took the buyout offer in 2019 being hired back as regular employees or is it still contract only? Thanks’

i have seen a contractor get rehired for the company just last month, and they left with this last VSP
I wouldn’t go back even if the offered me $100/hr. No amount of $ is worth the stress and mental abuse
If I recall the VSP agreement we all had to sign correctly, it indicated what others said. Exceptions would require SVP level approval.
Either way it doesn’t matter cause VZ isn’t hiring period
why would anyone want to go back?
Nope, you can’t crawl back just because nobody else will hire you.
Nope, you’re done.
In the documentation that you had to sign to receive your VSP payout it specifically stated you can not be hired back as an employee. Went so far as to describe the one situation where you could become an employee again, if you started working for another company which was then bought out by VZ.
Thanks
Still contractors only, no change in policy
