Senior leaders and Park Presidents do not make nearly that much people ..come on be realistic here. Not even in the AB days did they make that much. Pay attention to job postings when the are up, did you ever see a senior leader posted at 250,000? Yes we all lost benefits but it’s a part of an even bigger issue. We shouldn’t have to rely on our jobs to provide benefits, that should be provided by the government.
Yeah huge distinction there.
I understand the need to furlough to help a company survive. That’s what the unemployment is for, granted it’s hard to get right now with this happening everywhere, but it’s there.
But yanking benefits and giving only a three day notice, in the middle of a pandemic? That’s a new low for this company, and every single person should be looking to leave. They should call out this company each time they say “for the safety of our ambassadors” on social media.
“Disney said it will maintain health and insurance benefits coverage for its employees, “with the company paying both the employer and employee weekly benefit contributions“ pretty big difference there. Hopefully some people at Seaworld are taking notes.
And Disney is announcing they will start to furlough non essential and non unionized cast members on April 19.
Agreed with the last comment. Mega high estimates for those positions. And no, I'm not one of them lol
I don't think anyone feels good about what's happening. Except "you know who" ;)
Dude you’re way wrong, leaders, senior leaders and park presidents don’t make nearly that much. And most parks lost all leaders so salaried is right they’re with you being furloughed.
Maybe know what you’re talking about before speaking.
Park Presidents are making $500,000 with bonuses and stock options. Senior Leaders make $250,000 with bonuses and stock options. Leaders are hourly employees making $75,000 to $125,000 depending on years with the company and of course possible bonuses.
What I've witnessed at my park, leadership is having mixed feeling regarding the furloughs. They understand the business decision, but are hurting for they're teams.
How much do salaried leaders make? It couldn't be anywhere near CEO level. Low 6 figs maybe? If you have a family and a mortgage, you're not living it up or anything.
WOW!!! That's all I have is WOW!
