Trying to figure out what plan they have for the reps that aren’t working right now.

In NYM when redeployment happens I heard there will be no testing if you're healthy that's fine! Great, you can be a symptomatic and still have covid 19. That was brought up on NYM conference call?
And gloves. This is real, anyone can die or k–l a family member
Retail...we should be given masks or bandannas
If you choose and get picked for work back at retail store are there any provisions in that? Will reps and managers get face masks and gloves? I know they have already instituted safety measures within the stores but what if after you elect to work in store you don’t feel safe enough? Can we switch back to work from home option?
I got a text with 5 options. Alln options include guaranteed base pay plus guaranteed base commission. You can work in store for 30% pay increase on hours in store, cust service from home, financial services from home, telesales and business something. The website has you choose your options 1-5
No Vsp yet !
3 or 4 different @home options And return to work with at risk pay raise.
If it 3 weeks for every year. Done deal! If 2 week s Have to think about it , 1 week No!
@eql+14e7omr6 I’ve come from a department closure and yes, they may spring sh– on you out of nowhere, but they still paid the employees for a whole month and a half before a severance package kicked in (assuming you hadn’t taken an offer from elsewhere within the company.) worry about getting paid past this week should be an issue.
Does anyone have any information about VSP? Is it one week per year? How many of you would volunteer to go back on the store?
You will be put on the phones, taking easier calls to support CS.
Where are you getting the VSP info from and any details?
Yes health should be # 1 priority but eventually things should get back to semi normal. The problem is nobody is confident that we will get paid past the end of this week. Nothing official has come out regarding pay for the month of April. The bills keep coming that is for sure . I think it makes a lot of sense to offer VSP’s then find a way to pay and retain what is left over. In the next week you will see a tremendous amount of layoffs and furloughs in the retail sector. I imagine Verizon Wireless retail will have some sort of layoffs.
I just want to know why people are worried about going back to work when there’s a global pandemic taking place and care more about money than their own safety. You’re getting paid for doing nothing while you’re safe at home, that’s all that should matter.
Can't wait to see what the work from home option is. Maybe I can start selling phones out of my garage.
This is from socal area. My manager told me I would be receiving a text about options for returning to work. I was told there would be a work from home option and that they are looking for volunteers to go back into the stores. Does anyone have anymore information? I know they said it’s coming but I was just curious if anyone knew any details now.
Be on the lookout for a text soon
