Hours 9am-6pm are coming possibly as soon as Monday. Managers will see a club communication email soon. Source: Someone with access to a market manager email distro list.

I think these hours would be good for Sam’s Club going forward, actually from now on! Club pickup could dispense at 7am but doors don’t open until 10. I think keeping the concierge service from now on would be a wise idea as well... I feel there are going to be folks that will not want to give it up as this virus may linger for years!

We close a whole 30 minutes early in my store. Like that’s going to help anything.

I BELIEVE IT IS COMING INTO EFFECT SOON WITH WALMART STORE TAKING EMPLOYEES TEMPS THIS WEEK I SEE SAMS CLOSING EARLY LIKE COSTCO TO CRAM PEOPLE IN AND OUT. BUT WEAR A MASK IF YOU HAVE THEM DONT BELIEVE WHEN THEY SAY IT DOESNT PROTECT YOU. THATS BULL. THIS VIRUS DOES NOT DECIDE MEDICAL HAVE MORE CHANCE TO GET IT . THERE LYING . SO WEAR ONE IF YOU HAVE ONEYOU HAVE A RIGHT TO PROTECT YOURSELF.

LOL! Good one, they will NEVER close their doors, EVER! Technically, they expanded their hours by opening 9am to the general public, vs the previous 10am opening for non-plus members.

Of course Sam's is going to do it. We always follow behind Costco and sadly we will always be behind them too.

Something needs to be done to limit associates exposure right now there is no protection members are not practicing social distancing Costco's hours are M-F 10-6:30 Saturday 9:30-7 Sunday 10-6 basically open 8 hours a day this would allow you better coverage for the front end opening and closing shifts there at the same time you could get the members out faster which would be better for the associate and member. This is very smart so you know we will not do it our leadership is stuck in a very 1990's type of thinking we have to be last at everything.
