My friends on the landline side here in Pa. we’re told they would get extra Essential Service pay.
Is this true?

@1rdj+14ej0UbD : Try to follow along of you can. My comment, indeed this entire thread is about whether or not the wireline techs get essential service pay. One post, possibly yours, said they don’t send texts and it isn’t a flat amount. I responded that they DID receive texts and it WAS a flat amount because I saw them myself.
Reading comprehension is not your strong suit. Work on that. Start with simpler subject matter and work your way up.

Clearly your dumb–s didnt read my post. I am working in a store! But based on the new structure they sent out via the survey since I work in a district an hour away and they dont want cross contamination I will be forced to work from home and cant work at store closer to me or even at the store I was working at for the past 2 weeks. So I am forced to not get the 30% increase even going forward even though SM and GM like myself have been working in stores the past 2 weeks. Learn to f—ing read id–t
I’m in wireless retail, bro. I asked a question, bro. This is my forum, bro. Wise up, bro.
Bro this is wireless retail we are talking about go to your forum
@1woh+14ej0UbD: Yes, it is correct. I saw the texts and emails they got. I know I won’t get a check for $300, but they will. I saw it myself. They are field techs and central office people on the union wireline side here in Pa.
1gcl+14ej0UbD: You’re 100% wrong. They did get texts and it is a flat amount.
I saw the text on their company phones, and the flat amount is $300.
You really have no idea what you’re talking about. Do you even work here?
This isn’t correct. Don’t expect a $300 Check. You’ll get 30% increase starting April 1st and its only hours worked in a retail location

Hey @1kdb+14ej0UbD How tf are you a SM and not in a store? All of us management (SM & GM) are working in stores except the ones who filed the paperwork to escape to COVID-19. Please explain..
You’re going to have to ask the wireline side. That’s Verizon communications
Are they squeezing out asm and ss?
I'm frustrated because I want work and continue to work in a store. I'm an SM my district is an hour commute for me, I've been working in a store which is an hour and 30 mins but in my district. Now I'm being told I cant work in a retail store because its outside the 30 mins even though I've been doing that the past 2 weeks. 3 stores are open within 3 mins from me which I would gladly work at or continue working at the current store I'm in. I dont mean to sound ungrateful because I am for my pay but I feel slighted that I basically cant have the opportunity for that 30% hours worked pay and I have to work from home, it just doesnt seem right to me
On wireless side (sales reps at least) it’s a flat 30% raise if customer facing.
That’s not true. First of all you don’t get a text. Second it’s not a flat amount
Just got a text saying $300 per week extra for essential workers that cannot work from home
Only customer facing only.
130% pay for every hour worked with the public
