Good luck on job search in this time - be very specific on applying as companies have other things on their minds. I left in November due to incompatible job location issue and while stressful, money is coasting so stay positive. BTW - Jeff doesn't care a bit - he put in his time and is happy in retirement land. ( See Bob Nardelli story after he wrecked Home Depot ).

Were you long term at Fiserv or a recent hire?
sorry to know that. stay positive and confident. Can you share details on severance package? Is it 2 weeks per year of service?
Also, if this is a merged firm do they consider original date of joining or latest one?
I am so sorry. I always find it interesting that Fiserv lays off while they have active positions they are posting for Card Services. It makes no sense. And for you, Its the worst time to be looking for a job anywhere in our country with this darn virus. Lets hope its spread is contained so our economy starts flourishing again and you find a great job.
