Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Executives are at Home. While the essentials are working. Can’t get a mask issued but we sure do get the press to make them.

Where are you guys at? HP?KS?SH?MM?LW?PC?SB?TA?Come down and work on the floor since we shouldn’t care about exposure.

If HS&E leadership had any say in the matter they'd shut the factories down and keep us all at home. While their measures might help reduce any spread, it's just a matter of time before it makes its way into the factories and multiple employees are infected. If they were 100% confident they'd get everyone of the office personnel back in their cubicles instead of working from home. The bottom line is Honeywell's profits are more important than your safety! Putting yourself at greater risk may help you stay employed but not everyone will be so fortunate. Quite possibly, some of your co-workers might die because they were told to get to work instead of staying at home. The same can be said for all of the "essential employees" out there. Here at Hon we are "essential" unless it's your turn to be furloughed, then stay home without pay!! Yeah, they care about our safety alright...

@tgt+ I'm not sure what site you work at but at Sky Harbor, No in person meetings, No tier meetings, Most of the chairs in break rooms gone, Masks are being offered, get off your lazy backside and ask at medical. There are spray bottles everywhere with disinfectant in it and everyone is being asked to use them. wash your hands, HS&E is doing everything they can, and you know what, I am thankful i still have a job and a paycheck. I think you are the "Big Joke, all Talk and no action". Hopefully you will be one of the people RIFed, so we can get an fellow employee in here who actually wants a good job with a good paycheck.
Oh and before you say it, no I am not HR. I'm just a regular band 0 employee that happy i have a job in these crazy times.

Quit whining about the masks. A mask should only be worn if you already have the virus, so that other people won't get the virus. If you don't want to come to work, then quit.

Yep, only good news from Hon! No talk about how everyone is taking unpaid time off and all sub-contract workers were laid off today....just look over here, look at this mask thing we are doing to make ourselves look good. Meanwhile the factory workers stuck here keeping the lights on have no masks, no social distancing in place, and no standard work for sanitizing the workplace and equipment. HS&E is just one big joke, all talk, no action. They think as long as they send a janitor to clean the bathroom a few extra times per day and take our temperature before we walk into work all their troubles are over.
