Year after year there is a constant battle to reduce the cost of IT. Some of those efforts include VDSI, Agile/SAFe, Open Software, AWS, DevOPS, AI, Verizon 2.0, Rebadging IT employees to an Indian vendor, etc. It's time for our CEO to hire a real IT professional executive who reports to the CEO and centralize IT including Verizon Media. I never understood why IT reports to a Network guy who should focus all his energies on the 5G implementation. All these IT SVP silos and their staff are redundant and costly.

If you think S is trying to use Verizon Media to help IT it’s a mistake. Unlike using external vendors, If VMG delivers something, it would not be for his or IT vps credit. Funding/payments does not go thru them either.
Who cares about email. VZ media IT and software engineers build products, run large scale data analytics and infrastructure. I feel like we are doing ppts and calling infosys
