Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Why not use furloughed people to make masks?

So Phx. Honeywell wants the favorable publicity of manufacturing N-95 masks and hiring 500 new people to do it.
why not rotate in the people who are furloughed every other week so they still get a full paycheck.
Oh, I said they'd get a full paycheck, never mind, Hon only wants to pay much lower wages than help out furloughed employees.
They always say think outside the box. Thinking outside the box by using furloughed people might cost more money.

Didn't they just shut down N95 mask production and send it to mexico and asia?
I suspect they are trying to reopen a business they closed. need to search for the WARN notice for that plant in the northeast.

Funny how they tout "job creation," but make no public mention of all the jobs they have eliminated in the past two years. The company only talks out of one side of its mouth, or maybe out of its posterior more often than that.

Anything HoneyHell does is calculated for maximum positive public image. B–chy employees are just part of the game and mean nothing until the final accounting as to why Honeywell failed. Even then it is going to be just a footnote in some executives book.

Bingo! Another win for HON. What < $15 per hour for the poor chumps that they hire, and lots of "free" positive press. Extra bonus buck$ for stealership exec team that advanced the idea.
