Regional Managers

Do regional managers really need to be out doing walks right now? My RM has been in my Club twice this week alone. His territory covers two towns that are Covid hot spots. He comes in gives a couple irrelevant notes and then stands in the middle of crowded sales floor areas with his hands in his pocket.
I don’t dislike this RM but he seems to have no clue. He’s not essential to the business. If he needs to see certain areas he can FaceTime a manger before opening and see all he needs to see and give notes that way. All he’s doing is increasing risk.
I know home office reads these. The comments you all leave stand out like sore thumbs. Tell the regionals to work from home. They’re salaried and way over paid. They won’t be hurting from staying in.

Ours is doing virtual tours in our market. I think via Zoom or over FaceTime or something.

They need to stop traveling and the possibility of spreading from one club to another.

Irresponsible.

Gotta try hard to be relevant and justify their jobs!

The Regionals all have massive egos that need to be stoked regularly so they can stay on their pedestal and make bad decisions that screw over the average worker.
