The job of the new CIO is to cut the IT budget in half and then outsource most of internal IT. They stopped all funding for new projects. They also created organizational chaos and uncertainty with the goal to have the good people leave. In parallel there are many consultant and vendor engagements to prepare for outsourcing.

IT is not become user friendly , but become complex ..that was happening, too much think..

Yes, especially desktop. Ok, I have a lot of IT experience, including windows and IT in general. The first two levels of support do not even understand what I’m saying when I describe my problem.
I like local ITs, all smart, savvy and flexible but the problem is I have to go through a series of meaningless troubleshooting with inexperienced contractors to get my ticket transferred to the local.
@tfi+14hVoTie I work in IT and I think I can spot a few instances of mangers/directors hiring their family. These particular individuals are awful at their jobs and given insane amounts of slack/no scrutiny. Looking to get out asap
The local IT support at my site have always been red badges for the past 14 years I have been at Cisco.
With COVID19 situation - any IT going to be left at all ? Most of red badge have been asked to move offsite .. what next ?
IT's problem is the layers of incompetence and corruption. VPs hiring unqualified friends to lead organizations, while managers quietly hire relatives through contractors.
