One of the reasons there is such a large IT group is because of the amount of applications they have to maintain. The leaders never have had the patience or frankly the intelligence to consolidate many similar applications. They had the people years ago that could have made this happen but management thought they knew more. Not much has changed in that department...the arrogance of IT management is the cause of a lot of problem.

All of the managers and directors convinced someone they had to be there and saved their jobs while selling out their teams. Most of them do absolutely nothing except bark the same orders we get from Infosys PM. Totally redundant.
