In my experience, those who will be RIF'd will be very new people and those with 15-25 yrs of service. I'm in the latter group. Give me a severance package and I will willingly walk out with a smile on my face. HON has been good to me up to the last few years. The stress the company puts on everyone isn't worth degrading your health over. I don't care if I make half of what I make now. If I'm happy, my family is happy and we're all healthy is all that matters. Not being pressured to do the jobs of 5 people would be well worth getting rif'd. #waitingforthepackage

Once everyone is back from furlough the leadershit a–holes will see what the shutdown looks like. If we are going to continue to shut the economy down, then HON will start cutting heads. Typically the higher paid, higher tenure folks are the preferred target then it goes down from there. You're selected purely based on a number. No matter how hard you work or how valuable you are, it literally means jack sh– to these scumbags.

Your badge has already been disabled. Don’t bother reporting back from furlough as you will just be sent to a tent in the parking lot. In the ten is a person in a mask sitting six feet away who will hand you a box of stuff from your cube sealed with yellow tape and a job application for the opportunity to make hand sanitizer for the military.
