Many customers received a promo for free 80 additional channels during Covid-19.
I just got off the phone with a tech at Video for almost 2 hours trying to figure out why I’m not getting the channels. She was nice, working from home but we had a nice long conversation as I’m a retired VZ tech too.
Well 2 hours and no new channels. She said the video organization is a joke. There VOD (which also is not working) system is based out of India. They have an organization and department for everything. She literally told me she had to talk to 7 different departments. Here’s a list of departments:
IMG, FNOC, Video Hub, Cam, STB Management, Billing, Provisioning... what a joke. She said her husband works for Comcast and he said literally one call to the video head end and these issues are usually resolved. What the hell is Verizon doing???
Meanwhile I’m really seeing a lot of the problems with my TV service. Figures when I want to use it, it doesn’t work right. So unfair to say I’m getting free channels and I can’t get them !!! Wtf
If VZ management sees this message please fix it!!!!
