So I'm wondering, since those who are active workers this week get Friday off as a paid holiday, what about those that are on furlough this week? Will they get a day off paid next week or be required to work the full week? I realize it's only a day but feel like those on furlough this week got hosed out of a paid holiday for Good Friday. Anyone have any insight into this?

No one is “persecuting Christians” by not having Good Friday as an official holiday.
Or do you also think Jews are being persecuted by not having Yom Kippur off? Or Hanukkah. Are the Buddhists being persecuted by not having Lhabab Duchen or Rohatsu off?
Not getting special treatment and privileges is NOT being “persecuted”.
Its a floating holiday, so it can be used whenever. Those of us in Aero and on the white team probably will not get it it if the sites decide to not take it
It's on our holiday list this year as it has been most past years. Green team does in fact lose a paid holiday at our site if in fact, they don't allow us a floating holiday. The good news is, at least we have Good Friday off, with or without pay, for those who wish to have it off for religious reasons. Too bad we can't attend services. Maybe virtual ones will be available.
Good Friday is a holiday in HBT this year. Those from HBT that are on furlough this week will receive a “floating holiday” in return. Because we in theory have unlimited vacation they will in effect get scr—ed out of a holiday. Thank you Honeyhell.
In the Continuous Improvement to persecute Christians, Honeywell removed Good Friday from the official holiday list, several years ago. So, there is no impact to the Green team, that is currently on work Furlough.
