Many VSPs when making the decision to leave, failed to understand how prevalent Ageism is in the hiring process. Whether or not you worked for Verizon, tech job or non tech, if you are in your 50's and older its extremely difficult getting considered.

Not one of you answered the question. You just jumped on them for asking the question . You have no clue what the persons circumstances were for leaving, Maybe they had been looking for work. if you can’t answer the question properly why are you posting? Sounds to me like bitter employees.
No, of course not. Nobody gets unemployment for quiting. Especially when the company is offering you a large monetary reward to quit.
People are legitimately out of work, worried about paying their bills, feeding their kids.
VSP’ers walked off with a pocket full of money. And hopefully made the decision to do so because they figured out that they could afford to. Please leave unemployment for those that lost their jobs rather than decided to accept an offer.
