Wrongful death suit

Walmart is being sued for wrongful death after an associate died in Chicago the family claims that management new 2 associates had symptoms but did nothing about it. They sent one of them home and he was found dead 2 days later, maybe they will start taking a different look at things now.

they will not lose these lawsuits they will not go to court Walmart will pay them off first we all know the truth there was no PPE no club is sanitized spraying the carts down with purell is hardly sanitizing the club there are to many associates around the country who could testify that Walmart reacted way to late the company would be foolish to let any of this be stated in court.

You can’t prove where they got the virus.. they will certainly lose this lawsuit. To think otherwise Is ludicrous.. I pray for these families but Walmart is not to blame for their deaths.

They will stop at nothing to not offend China. They will come first before the American worker. That's the real bottom line. Keep the goods flowing.

They think having the VP come on and thank the workers is enough. Yet they continue to allow measures that put us in danger. Walmart will get what's coming to them. For years they have been eliminating many of the best associates because they got paid more and they gotta trim those expenses. At the expense of these associates families. Trust me I know there has been plenty of unproductive baggage to eliminate but they also have gotten rid of many of the best people. As long as associates are coming to work, they will continue to use us all for their greedy profits.

They are willing to sacrifice us.

Big families, and groups come to the registers, and invade our personal space, let along our six foot space. The members think nothing of coming behind the belts to watch what we ring up (most of our registers don't have screens facing the member.)

How is five hundred people in a store at any time a limit? Seriously? Groups no larger than ten, but five hundred in a store is fine.

And why are they allowed to purchase jewelry? What essential is in the jewelry case? Or clothing? Or towels and washrags? Like they can't do without these items for 30 days. These are our lives in danger and this company does the bare minimum.

I can't stop working, there isn't unemployment for those of us scared.

Our managers stay in the back, or in the office. Some have started working a night shift. But cashiers, desk, door.....we're the ones the members shove their faces up close too.

We all knew this would happen sooner or later the executives only care about one thing that is profit they have not done anything to try to protect the associates they wasted money on a commercial to say thanks what a joke maybe it is time we all start thinking about taking some time off and sit this out for awhile.

Something needs to be done to eliminate exposure to associates wearing masks and gloves is not enough the clubs need to have the hours shortened again I think 10-6 everyday 8 hours a day you could run with very little staff. We need to got to self checkout only take no cash and stop taking returns. The clubs are turning into a hangout because nothing else is open it is time to take drastic measures to protect the associates,We have to stop the browsing up and down every aisle they need to get in by the essentials and get out.
