AMBU was behind the eight ball from the beginning with non-continuous tier 2 acreage. Chief/AB acquisition was worse than Atlas. Poor contracts, inexperienced personnel, lack of knowledge all contributed to AMBU’s demise.
Lanco incident was a tragedy that shouldn’t have happened.

Just recently announced?, meaning does she get to leave the building before the axe swings or is that her final act?
I am not sure what mistakes she is responsible for? Left before she arrived, but I have heard some rumblings on here about a frac contract snafu at AMBU which also influenced MCBU. Her BU counsel would have been up to her neck in that too.
Let's be clear though, the predecessors originally messed that place up. Draw a straight line to Chevron's current Vice President of Strategy & Sustainability and the current ETC Manager of Earth Science Services. That place could not get itself into a position of making money when gas price was high from 2011 to 2015. When the current President of Asia Pacific came on the scene and sorted the operation out it was too late. Gas price stayed low continuing in no money to be made. Let's not forget the current Manager of Global Reserves. Piece of work when at AMBU. Has gotten many honorable mentions here in his current role.
Oh yeah, The big wig in charge cannot stomach the impending carnage and must step off stage before the executioner comes on and starts swinging the axe. Can’t mess up that expensive business suit.
