Open door policy is a joke!
Our mangers stayed in the office before this virus ever hit. Pretty sad how much they get paid to sit in the office.
I’m wondering how long someone can take LOA not just because of COVID 19? Believe they have other issues. Do the other issues get approved no matter what? How is this person paid? Know this isn’t their first LOA either!!!
I'm not going to put me or my family at risk so the Walmart family can self isolate on their yachts. And our managers? Our managers won't come onto the floor for any reason, let alone stand in front of a register for an 8 hour shift. All we hear at the desk when we ask for a manager is, "call me at..."
This is funny, we have 3 of our mangers out currently because of this .😂😂😂
I took it...got some sarcastic feedback from mgmt...enjoying each day off so far...not worth the risk...I don't get the fact that you cant be told who has the virus in your store. I know Hiipa is there to protect privacy. But this is an unprecedented event.. ..a freaking Prime Minister has it for petes sake. the safety of the workers should be priority #1 and simply isnt...

No not true, you want to be safe be safe you should not lose your job over it and if you do open door it!
If you do they will find a reason to let you go a short time after your return. Just a warning.
