You are probably the associate who is ranting all over Facebook. Unfortunately they can’t discuss anyone’s name but most people know who it is, they have probably been out of the club for days. Covind-19 is all over the place. No one knows they have it in the beginning. Do you think they want it or want to give it to Anyone? We talk among ourselves, friends, we know who has it. They could have gotten the germ anywhere

Stop blaming the company for the disease, they are in an awful position like you are. People need food. If you think anyone wants someone to get sick, your a heartless person, maybe you need to think about your actions and what comes out of your mouth before this pandemic ever started. If this is not where you want to be, get an education and another job. The company has given you the opportunity not to work. I think it’s best for you to stay home. Your attitude is infectious and not welcomed

No I’m not management or Corp but someone who works with you.

I can't imagine how the store would be able to keep this quiet. Most of the associates at our store are connected via Facebook. We know when someone stubs their toe in the morning.

To: "Ever hear of HEPPA." Covid-19 and HIV/AIDS are two entirely different diseases. Covid-19 is highly contagious. Infection can result by being in general vicinity of an infected person. You can't become infected with HIV/AIDS without blood to blood contact. Frankly, I'd rather work with someone who has HIV/AIDS. It would be safer, than working with someone who has Covid-19.
There's no shame in having either disease.

Having said that, every individual has a right to disclose an illness. It isn't the managers job to tell you other people's business.

In case you haven't heard, Covid-19 is everywhere. It's our jobs to take care of ourselves. The only people looking out for you is you, family, and friends. Don't count on anyone else. Not the police, the government, or the company you work for. If you do, it's a mistake.

The police arrive after the crime has been committed. They're reactive.

The government didn't/can't protect us from Covid-19. They're concern is the economy, luckily they need us, so their willing to slow it down for a few weeks.

The company you work for don't give a rat's patootie if you get sick. There you are replaceable. Why do you think they're on a hiring spree?

And no, I'm not a manager, I'm a cashier.

It is hippa not heppa they can say someone was infected you cannot give names it is irresponsible of this company not to inform associates who may be infected the lawsuits are going to pile up.

Ever hear of HEPPA. It’s against the law to inform anyone of someone’s health condition. If you had AIDS would you want everyone in the club to know you had it. There’s also a good chance you have worked with someone with aids and never knew it and if you would of new how you would of treated that person different.

Did u think this was something that wasnt happening I'm confused. There is probably atleast one case at every single club, mine has about 7. They dont announce it they want u to work through it and hope you dont get it. Sorry to be blunt but this isnt anything new and I'm surprised u only are just finding out about a case at your club, garentee theres more.
